Although this is a beautiful display of creation, in order to see it you will need a reservation and the cheapest tour is $65.00 per person, plus a native nation permit fee of $8.00 per person. We recommend staying at Page Lake Powell RV Campground. This campground offers full hookups, cabins, tent spaces as well as covered wagons. In addition to the great site spaces, they offer an indoor pool and hot tub for year round swimming and relaxing. They also have a playground for kids to enjoy, set up against an amazing backdrop of sandstone layered mesas, and mature landscaping with great shade. There is another RV campground close by, ROAM, which is more modern and new landscaping so not as much shade, but a gorgeous view of the valley and mountains.
